Clean your tools regularly. After each diamond painting session, clean the tools you have used, especially the pen and trays, to prevent glue or diamond residue from building up. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the surfaces and make sure to dry them thoroughly.
Store diamonds and accessories in organized places. Use containers or boxes with compartments to store your diamonds and accessories in an organized way. Not only will this help you keep everything in order, but it will also protect your materials from dust and possible damage.
Protect the canvas. When you are not working on your canvas, cover the area of glue that has been left exposed to the air to prevent dust or dirt from sticking to the adhesive surface, and then store it in a safe place. Diamood canvases come with plenty of wax paper to make this task as comfortable as possible. Plus, they all come with a carrying tube which is also perfect for storing the canvases while you're not using them.
Follow these three steps every time you finish a diamond painting session, and everything will go smoothly when you get back to it.
